FAQ & Guidance

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our plumbing service.

How much does a plumber cost?

Plumbing work is priced on the job: the type of repair or installation, parts, how easy it is to reach the pipework, and whether more work is found once it is opened up. We confirm the cost before carrying out chargeable work.

What should I do if I have a leak?

Turn off the water at the stopcock if you can, catch dripping water and keep away from electrics near the leak. Then send a high-urgency request with photos.

Do you work on boilers and gas appliances?

By law, gas work in the UK, including boilers and gas appliances, must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Ask us for registration details when you request a quote.

Can you fit a new toilet or sink?

Yes, we can replace toilets, sinks and basins and connect them to the existing water supply and waste. Moving fittings to a new position involves more work and is best discussed as part of a bathroom or kitchen project.
