48h Proposal Turnaround
Following inspection, we supply a detailed estimation with line items split by labour, materials, subtotal, and VAT.
Guaranteed Fixed Quote
Once calculated, the quotation price stays locked for its validity period. No unexpected additions or mid-project price changes.
All waste management requirements are managed directly by our certified in-house teams.
Builders' Waste
Building, renovation and refurbishment projects produce rubble, timber, plasterboard, packaging and other waste. We collect non-hazardous building waste from sites and properties, in a single clearance or using a skip. Choose Construction as the waste type on the request form.
Request a builders' waste quoteCommercial Waste
Businesses need their waste removed regularly and handled correctly. We collect general commercial waste, office clearances and unwanted furniture or equipment from business premises, as one-off or repeat collections. Choose Commercial as the waste type on the request form.
Request a commercial waste quoteSkip Hire & Waste Collection
For larger amounts of waste, the request form lets you choose a skip from 2 to 12 yards, or a small bag collection for lighter loads. Tell us where the skip would go, because a skip placed on a public road needs a permit from the local council.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common queries and expert answers regarding our waste management solutions.
Lucy & Phil provides professional waste removal and clearance services for homes, landlords, businesses, property managers and other premises. Depending on your requirements, we can help with general rubbish removal, property clearances, unwanted household items, garden waste, renovation waste and other non-hazardous waste requirements. We assess the type and volume of waste before confirming the most appropriate collection method.
You can contact us with details of the waste you need removed, the property location and your preferred collection date. Where available, you can also use our online booking or enquiry process. For an accurate quotation, tell us what needs removing, approximately how much there is, where it is located and whether there are stairs, restricted access or other collection considerations. For larger clearances, photographs can also help us understand the job before providing a quotation.
Waste removal is not simply priced by the number of bags. We consider the type and volume of waste, amount of labour required, loading conditions, access, collection location, vehicle requirements and disposal costs. Providing accurate information when requesting your quotation helps us give you a realistic price and reduces the risk of unexpected charges caused by significant differences between the description provided and the waste actually presented.
Yes. Where agreed, our team can remove waste and unwanted items from houses, flats, offices, garages, gardens, commercial premises and other accessible areas. Please tell us where the waste is located when requesting your quotation. Waste that requires additional labour to remove from upper floors, basements, sheds or difficult access areas may require additional time and resources.
Yes. We can discuss full or partial property clearance where the items are suitable for our service. This can be useful for landlords, letting agents, homeowners, property managers and customers preparing a property for sale, letting, refurbishment or handover. We can assess the contents and agree the scope of the clearance before work begins.
Yes. We can discuss removal of suitable non-hazardous renovation and construction waste following building, refurbishment or maintenance work. When requesting a quotation, provide details of the materials involved so we can determine whether they can be handled as part of the service and what collection arrangements are required.
Yes. We can provide clearance for suitable garden and outdoor waste, including green waste, branches, garden debris and unwanted outdoor items, subject to the type and quantity of material. If the garden requires cutting, dismantling or preparation before the waste can be removed, tell us when requesting your quotation so the additional work can be considered.
We can collect a wide range of general, household, commercial and property-related non-hazardous waste, subject to assessment. If you are unsure about a particular item, tell us exactly what it is before booking. This is particularly important for materials that may require specialist handling or disposal.
Yes. Some materials require specialist handling, licensing or disposal arrangements and may not be suitable for our standard waste removal service. If you have hazardous, contaminated, chemical, asbestos-containing or otherwise specialist waste, tell us before booking rather than placing it with general waste. We can advise whether the material falls within our service or whether a specialist disposal solution is required.
Not necessarily. The preparation required depends on the type of waste and the service booked. However, clearly separating items that are being removed from items you want to keep helps prevent mistakes and can make the collection more efficient. If you have specific items that require careful handling, please identify them before the team starts.
Our team will assess the agreed collection area and identify the waste covered by the quotation. The waste is then loaded using appropriate handling methods and transported for the agreed disposal or processing arrangements. If the actual quantity or type of waste is substantially different from what was originally described, we will discuss this with you before undertaking additional chargeable work wherever reasonably possible.
Yes, suitable bulky household items can be included in a clearance, depending on their size, condition, access and disposal requirements. Examples may include furniture, mattresses, appliances and other unwanted household items. Please provide details of unusually large or heavy items when requesting your quotation so we can plan the collection correctly.
Yes. Waste removal can be arranged for landlords, letting agents and property managers who need properties cleared between tenancies, refurbishments, sales or handovers. Where required, waste removal can also be coordinated alongside other Lucy & Phil property services, helping reduce the need to organise multiple contractors for related property work.
We aim to handle waste responsibly and use appropriate disposal or processing routes for the material collected. The correct route depends on the type of waste and the disposal requirements that apply to it. We do not recommend customers placing unsuitable or potentially hazardous materials into general waste. If you are unsure about something, tell us before collection so it can be assessed properly.
Our quotation is based on the information provided when the job is booked. If there is substantially more waste, different waste or additional labour required than originally described, the scope and price may need to be reviewed. We aim to discuss additional chargeable work with you before proceeding wherever reasonably possible. This keeps the process transparent and gives you the opportunity to approve the additional work rather than receiving an unexplained charge afterwards.
