Kitchen Renovations
FAQ & Guidance

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our kitchen renovations service.

How much does a kitchen renovation cost?

The cost depends on the size of the kitchen, whether the layout changes, the plumbing and electrical work involved, the units, worktops and appliances you choose and the finishing work. Who supplies the kitchen also affects the price.

Can you fit a kitchen I have already bought?

Yes, we can discuss fitting a kitchen you have bought separately. Let us know the supplier details and send the plans so we can check what installation involves.

How long will I be without a kitchen?

It depends on the scope. Replacing units in the same layout is quicker than moving walls, plumbing and electrics. We explain the stages so you can plan ahead, for example by setting up a temporary kitchen area.

Can the kitchen be opened up into another room?

Often, but it depends on whether the wall is load-bearing and what services run through it. Structural changes may need a structural engineer's input and Building Regulations approval.
