Renovations & Refurbishment

Renovation and refurbishment bring a tired or outdated property back up to standard, from updating a single room to reconfiguring a whole house. We coordinate the trades involved so the work runs in the right order, whether you live in the property or are preparing it to let or sell.

FAQ & Guidance

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our renovations & refurbishment service.

How much does a home renovation cost?

Renovation costs depend on the size of the property, how much of it is being renovated, the condition of what is already there, any structural changes, the trades involved and the specification of finishes. A whole-house renovation is priced differently from updating one or two rooms.

Can I stay in my home while it is renovated?

It depends on how much of the home is affected. For room-by-room work, staying is often possible, while a full renovation may be easier with the property empty. We discuss phasing and access with you at the start.

What if you find problems once work starts?

Older properties can hide issues behind walls and under floors, such as damp, old wiring or damaged timbers. If we find something that affects the work or the price, we explain it and agree the next step with you before carrying on.

Can kitchens and bathrooms be part of a renovation?

Yes, kitchens and bathrooms can be included in a wider renovation, and we coordinate them with the rest of the work so trades are not working against each other.
